About Us

Kevin Stockham is a co-owner and licensed funeral director/embalmer of Stockham Family Funeral Home. He is a graduate of McPherson High School, Kansas City Kansas Community College, the National Foundation of Funeral Service and has lived in McPherson nearly all his life.  He has been on staff since 1988.  Kevin is married to Tammie and they have a daughter, Stevie.  Kevin is a member of Optimist Club, Sons of the American Legion, VFW Auxiliary, McPherson Shrine Club, McPherson Chamber of Commerce, and many other community organizations.

Tammie is a licensed Funeral Director and co-owner of Stockham Family Funeral Home. She has been on staff since 1996. Tammie has lived in McPherson most of her life and is a graduate of McPherson College. She is married to Kevin and they have a daughter, Stevie. Tammie is active in many community and church activities and is also a member of the PEO Sisterhood. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Finnlie is a miniature Goldendoodle and has successfully completed the requirements to become a registered therapy dog with Love on a Leash and also Hapi Pet Therapy. Finnlie is here to greet the families we serve in their time of need, bringing solace and a comforting touch during a difficult time. She is the only funeral home therapy dog in the McPherson area and is an expert at nuzzling, snuggling, receiving pats on the head, and rolling over for a belly rub to lighten the mood. Finnlie is available for people who are planning a funeral as well as those who are attending one.
