The funeral home was originally founded in 1945 by J. Arvid Danielson and Glen Ball and was known as the Danielson-Ball Funeral Home. The home was built in the late 1800's as a private residence and was later converted and remodeled for funeral home use. In the mid 1950's Glen's son, Eddie, came on board and purchased Mr. Danielson's interest in the firm. They then changed the name to Ball & Son Funeral Home and operated the firm together for many years. Glen passed away in 1980, leaving Eddie to operate the business for the next several years.
In 1996, the firm was purchased by the Stockham family and they continue to operate the funeral home with some of the same old fashioned principals and traditions that were initiated by it's founders long ago. However, they also bring many fresh ideas and a new perspective to the community to insure that each family is given the finest in personalized service with special emphasis on attention to detail.
