Yvonne V. Hoppes

Yvonne V. Hoppes, 82, of Galva, KS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Pleasant View Home, Inman, KS. She was a homemaker.

Yvonne was born on April 7, 1932, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Guy H. and Clara Naomi (Anderson) Ash. On April 22, 1951, Yvonne was united in marriage to Dalbert N. Hoppes in Galva, KS. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2013.

Yvonne was a member of Galva United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include: sons, Mike Hoppes and wife, Jolene, of Galva, KS and Mark Hoppes and wife, Susan, of Galva, KS; daughter, Tammy Ratzlaff and husband, David, of Galva, KS; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Clara, husband, Dalbert, brother, Rollin Ash, sister, Bonnie Dee Crandall, and son-in-law, Gary Flinn.

A Reception and Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Galva Community Building. A private graveside service will be held at Empire Cemetery, Galva, with Rev. Phil Radatz officiating.
