William E. Huff

William E. “Bill” Huff, 82, of McPherson, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014, at The Cedars in McPherson. He was a retired maintenance worker for the City of McPherson Street Department.

He was born January 10, 1932 in Bridgeport, OK, the son of Raymond D. and Rosie E. (Shelley) Huff. On February 2, 1952, Bill was united in marriage to Patsy J. Moser in Anadarko, OK. They have been residents of McPherson since 1965, moving from Binger, OK.

Survivors include: his wife, Patsy of the home; three daughters, Sharon Johnson (Bruce) of McPherson, Patricia Starks of McPherson and Rhonda Coapstick of Camden, Indiana; grandchildren, Kevin Huff (Stephanie), Nathan Johnson (Rebekah), Carissa Armer, and Brenda Starks; great-grandchildren, Christopher Huff, Lacee Huff, Brendan Fletcher, Eszter Johnson, and Cody Fletcher; three brothers, Raymond Huff of Topeka, KS, Leroy Huff (Sue) of Nampa, ID, and Lonnie Huff (Judy) of Grove, OK; a sister, Ora Garibaldi of Minneola, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lola Lewis, Roy Huff, Irene Huff, Jimmy Huff, James Huff, Kenneth Huff, Edna Socwell, and Desi Brewer.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, Dec. 31, at New Hope Evangelical Church McPherson. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
