Wesley Black

Wesley Black, 51, of Newton and formerly of McPherson, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at his home in Newton, KS. He had been a truck driver and insulation installer.

Wes was born on January 2, 1964 in Englewood, Colorado. He graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Littleton, CO and attended Central College, McPherson.

Wes attended McPherson Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include: parents, Ruth & Jerry Land of McPherson, KS; step-brother, Todd Land (Jerry Reinke) of Joplin, MO; uncle & aunt, Larry & Judy Potter of McPherson, KS; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by uncle, Richard Potter.

The memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2016, at McPherson Free Methodist Church with Rev. Dallas Burgeson officiating. Inurnment will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 4, at McPherson Cemetery.
