Virginia Montgomery

Virginia L. Montgomery, 73, of Moundridge and formerly of McPherson, died Sunday, February 29, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. She was a homemaker and volunteer at Memorial Hospital, McPherson.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 5, 2004, at the First Baptist Church, McPherson. Burial will be at the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: husband, Harold of the home; two sons, Eric Montgomery of San Jose, CA and Donald Montgomery of Toulon, IL; one daughter, Geneva Merritt of Chase, KS; two brothers, John Busch of Salmon, Idaho and Samuel J. Busch of Warsaw, Missouri; six sisters, Dorothy Eppler of Severy, KS, Pansy Frost of Severy, KS, Mary Cavner of Belle Plaine, KS, Betty Destiny Delles of Belle Plaine, KS, Myrtle C. Thompson of Wichita, KS, and Nellie Oriet of McPherson, KS; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
