Virgil Freeburg

Virgil T. "Bud" Freeburg, 91, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He was a retired painting contractor and lifetime McPherson resident.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church. A private family inurnment service will take place at McPherson Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.

Survivors include: his wife, Freda of the home; son-in-law, Robert Christensen of McPherson; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Christensen; three brothers, Martin, Emil, and Walter; and six sisters, Edith Nordling, Ellen Parsons, Mildred Hill Lindholm, Sarah Coughenour Sloan, Carol Perry, and Rose Lee Dana.
