Velma M. Robbins

Velma Mae (Bowman) Robbins, 87, of Inman, KS, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was a homemaker.

Velma was born on June 6, 1931, in Altamont, KS, the daughter of Lee and Thelma (Tunget) Bowman. On February 26, 1950, Velma was united in marriage to Jackie “Jack” Dale Robbins.

Survivors include: children, Susan Gerst of Florida, Mary (Warren) Vincent of McPherson, KS, and Dale (Brenda) Robbins of Arkansas; sister, Lynn (Eugene) Nash of Colorado; brother, Lester (Wylene) Bowman of Parsons, KS; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bowman of Parsons, KS; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, and son-in-law.
