Vance Schafer

Vance D. Schafer, 56, of Little River, died Monday, March 22, 2004, at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home in Little River. He was a farmer and owner of State Street Salsa Company.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stockham Family Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his mother, Elsie M. Schafer of rural McPherson; two daughters, Marie Schafer of Garberville, CA and Jessica Schafer of Port Aransas, TX; a step-daughter, T.R. Keagle of McPherson; and two brothers, Kenneth Schafer of Hutchinson, KS and Larry Schafer of Little River, KS.
