Twila A. Kruse

Twila A. Kruse, 79, of Valley Center, KS and formerly of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, surrounded by family at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis RMC, Wichita, KS. She retired from Farmers Alliance, McPherson, where she worked as a filing clerk.

Twila was born on April 7, 1940, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of David Loewen and Anna Bell (Bolen) Regier. She graduated from Buhler High School in 1958 and attended Hutchinson Community College. Twila was united in marriage to Stanley Chester Kruse on June 2, 1963, in Buhler, KS. He preceded her in death in 1980.

Survivors include: two sons, Mark Kruse and wife, Janet, of Wichita, KS and Mike Kruse and wife, Brenda, of Wichita, KS; and four grandchildren, Taylor Kruse, Taryn Kruse, Lauren Kruse, and Allison Kruse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Arthur David Kruse, brother, Harlo Regier, and sister, Mildred Schroeder.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 2, 2019, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, Sunday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson, with Rev. Jeff Gannon officiating. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 3, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
