Travis Buck

Travis James Buck, 17, of McPherson, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at McPherson Hospital. He was a student and was currently in his Junior year of high school.

Travis was born on August 24, 1994, in Salina, KS, the son of Jon H. and Deborah A. "Dee" (Cogburn) Buck. He has lived most of his life in McPherson and attended the local schools.

The funeral service will be at 3:30 PM, Friday, October 7, 2011, at Countryside Covenant Church (NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE OF LOCATION). The visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery.

Survivors include: parents, Jon & Dee Buck of the home; sister, Tiffany Buck of Olathe, KS; brother, Corey Buck of McPherson, KS; grandmothers, Mildred M. Buck of McPherson, KS and Lorene Cogburn of Norman, AR; aunts and uncles, Phil & Val Buck of McPherson, KS, Terry Cogburn of Norman, AR, James & Patsy Cogburn of Norman, AR, Loretta Cogburn of Little Rock, AR, Ted & Lisa Cooper of Hot Springs, AR, and Donna, Gwen, Beth, & Turena; and a nephew, Jayden Cruz Buck of Olathe, KS.
