Theodore Sharp

Theodore K. "Ted" Sharp, 100, of Wichita and formerly of Topeka and McPherson, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Larksfield Place Health Care Center in Wichita.

He was born September 26, 1909, in Fort Lapwai, Idaho, the son of Theodore and Margaret E. (Kuns) Sharp.

Ted was a retired attorney and the grandson of Soloman Z. Sharp, the founding President of McPherson College.

Survivors include: four daughters, Dolores Sharp of Topeka, KS, Anita Sharp of Topeka, KS, Madeline Tollefson of LeCompton, KS, and Lori Sharp of Littleton, CO; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, a sister, Margaret Williams, and a grandson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, May 25, at Larksfield Place in Wichita, Kansas. Inurnment of the cremains will be in McPherson Cemetery.
