Terrance "Terry" Wade

Terrance "Terry" E. Wade, of Longmont, Colorado died June 14, 2012 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 60.

He was born August 22, 1951 in McPherson, Kansas to Ralph Sr. and Alma (Retter) Wade. He moved to Denver from Kansas at age 13 and graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school in 1970. He then studied sign language interpretation at the Community College of Denver.

In August of 1974, he married Diane Sorensen. Together they moved to Longmont in 1988 from Lafayette.

He worked for 30 years with Western Electric which became AT&T, and at Wal-Mart for the past 3 years.

He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was an avid reader and enjoyed leather working.

Survivors include: his wife, Diane of the home; a son, Christian of Longmont; a daughter, Karen Wade of Longmont; a brother Ralph, Jr. of Denver; two grandchildren, Antonio Aguirre and Emily Silver, both of Longmont; and his lifelong friend of 45 years, Terence Keller. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, CO.

A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 9:00 AM, Monday, August 27, at McPherson Cemetery.
