Tamyla G. Sawyers

Tamyla Gail Sawyers, 66, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Smoky Hill Health & Rehabilitation in Salina, KS.  

Tamyla was born on August 25, 1957, the daughter of Kenneth A. and Bonnie L. (Graham) VanAmburg.  She had worked at Ferguson Production, McPherson Senior Center, and at Taylor Mart.

Survivors include: her children, Misty Einfeldt (Jeff Hartzell) of McPherson, KS and Alan Record of McPherson, KS; siblings, Becky Henry (Rick) of McPherson, KS, Darcy Wann (Tom) of McPherson, KS, Randy VanAmburg (Julie) of McPherson, KS, Jana Bitel of McPherson, KS, Cindy Vincent (Keith) of Arizona, and Sherry VanAmburg (Lorin) of California; six grandchildren, Jasmine Reed (Terry), Skyler Einfeldt, Blade Einfeldt, Savannah Record, Dakota Record, and Cody Chrislip; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth VanAmburg and Calvin & Bonnie Willems, and sisters, Kimberly Williams and Kim Willems.

 A celebration of her life (come & g0) will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the First Presbyterian Church in McPherson.
