Theolyn Ann (T-Ann) Kerschner, 89, of McPherson, Kansas entered Eternal Life on Monday, November 15, 2021.
T-Ann was born in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of the late Ted and Ann Marie (Peterson) Wallerstedt, who were of Swedish heritage. When T-Ann was a young age, the family moved to McPherson. T-Ann attended Lincoln Elementary School, McPherson Jr. High School, and graduated from McPherson High School in 1950.
In October 1952, T-Ann was united in marriage to Clifford H. “Cliff” Kerschner at Trinity Lutheran Church in McPherson. Cliff preceded her in death on March 26, 2012.
T-Ann was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, singing in the Trinity Church Choir, working on quilts, and doing activities in the Fellowship Club. In addition to being active in her church, T-Ann worked many years in the public relations office at Bethany College and sang in the Messiah in Lindsborg. She and Cliff were active members of the American-Scandinavian Association. T-Ann was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, McPherson chapter.
Survivors include: daughter, Tonya Kerschner of El Dorado, KS; son, Craig Kerschner of Pattaya, Thailand; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kerschner of Hutchinson, KS; nephews, Brian Ball, Darwin Ball, Kirby Kerschner, Larry Kerschner, Kent Kerschner, and Ralph Kerschner; nieces, Rondi Caywood, Rexanne Kerschner, Terri Grooms, and Carla Lowry; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Janis Ball, an infant daughter, Karen; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Robinson, Virginia Hargraves, and JoAnna Kerschner, and Virginia Hatfield; brothers-in-law, Leon Ball, Don Kerschner, Lonnie Kerschner, Caris Hatfield, Richard Kerschner, and Rex Kerschner; and niece, Linda Ball.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Leaf officiating. Burial will follow at the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM prior to the service on Monday at the church. A luncheon for family and friends will follow the burial at Trinity Fellowship Hall.
