Steven R. Jacobson

Steven R. Jacobson, 59, of Moundridge, KS, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at his home in Moundridge. He was a certified electrician and member of IBEW Local No. 271.

Steve was born on August 19, 1955, in Fort Riley, Kansas, the son of Myron S. “Jake” and Sylvia E. (Lagerquist) Jacobson. He graduated from Jefferson West High School in Meriden, Kansas. On September 17, 2005, Steve was united in marriage to Cathy S. Fainter in Canton, KS.

Survivors include: wife, Cathy of the home; mother, Sylvia Jacobson of Ozawkie, KS; daughters, Angela Williams of Canton, KS, Katherine Karl of Newton, KS, and Derronda Jacobson of Wichita, KS; son, Jason Williams of Canton, KS; brothers, Gary Jacobson of Haines, AK and Glenn Jacobson (Alison) of Haines, AK; six grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jake.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Park, McPherson.
