Shirley Ann Gibbs was born on November 20, 1956, in Gary, IN, the oldest of seven children born to Arrie Louise Pulliam. Shirley went to sleep in Jesus on October 25, 2024, after battling small bowel cancer for two years. She was 67 years of age.

Wherever she was, whether at church or at work or out in public, she ministered with her singing.
