Sharoll Joy Schoen

Sharoll Joy Schoen, 65, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at her home in McPherson. She had worked as a substitute school teacher in McPherson.

Sharoll was born on October 11, 1954, in Lincoln, NE, the daughter of Richard Lyle and Dorothy Alice (Leopold) Tice. She graduated from Moundridge High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Wichita State University. She was united in marriage to Carl Schoen, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Survivors include: three children, Charles W. Schoen (Deanna) of McPherson, KS, Samuel Schoen of McPherson, KS, and Benjamin Schoen of Nevada; brother, Randy Tice of Nebraska; six grandchildren, Dakota, Deven, Dalton, Cali, Mason, and Miles; and doggie companion, Scar.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A balloon release for family and friends will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Lakeside Park, McPherson. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
