Sara Daum

Sara L. Daum, 99, of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at The Cedars in McPherson. She was a retired sales clerk, having worked for the Brown-McDonald store and also for Morris & Son Clothiers. She also did the bookkeeping for her husband's business, Daum Construction.

The memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 6, at Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge. Private interment will be in the Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery and will precede the memorial service. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.

Survivors include: a step-son, Kermit Daum, (Anne) of Derby; a step-daughter, Jeanette Friesen (Ron) of Loveland, CO; a brother, Willard Stucky (Marjorie) of North Newton; two sisters, Elizabeth Belknap (Wayne) of Inman and Margaret Thiessen of Hutchinson; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake, a brother, Paul Stucky, and sisters, Bertha Reimer, Mary Doerksen, Linda Oberst, and Martha Stucky.
