Ronald Larkin,

Ronald J. Larkin, Sr., 80, of McPherson and formerly of Winfield, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at his home. He was an oil field worker, having worked for Butler Brothers Inc. in Winfield as a pulling unit operator and truck driver.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 18, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: his wife, Flora Mae of the home; three sons, Ronald Larkin, Jr. and wife, Carolyn of Bly, Oregon, Fred Larkin and wife, Carla, of Smolan, Kansas, and Terry Larkin and wife, Joleen, of Lyons, Kansas; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Maryellen Larkin, and two sisters, Elva Nadine Olmstead and Marie Laurence.
