Ronald James Hallman, 85, of Moundridge, KS and formerly of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2019, at Pine Village, Moundridge. He was a retired technician for PG & E (Pacific Gas and Electric.)
Ron was born on June 8, 1933, in Westerville, NE, the son of Albert Elmer and Olive Ruby (Ducker) Hallman. He graduated in 1951 from Ansley High School in Ansley, NE.
Ron served in the United States Air Force where he served as a mechanic for the B-36 Bomber squadron and was stationed in Texas and Puerto Rico. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting rifles and pistols and repairing radios and televisions.
Survivors include: his daughter, Angela Rutherford of Scotts Valley, CA and brother, Bernard Hallman of Marana, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Phylbert Johnson, Alberta Olsen, Shirley Keen, Larry Hallman, and Carolyn Fisher.
Visitation/viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 6, at Westerville Cemetery in Westerville, NE.
