Robert “Bob” Henry Norris, 73, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center, Wichita. He worked in the parts department at several Ford dealerships including Reimer Ford in McPherson. Bob was a United States Navy veteran.

Bob was born on May 27, 1944, in Jersey City, NJ, the son of Henry Robert and Sarah (Haines) Norris. He was united in marriage to Carol J. Rhine on June 20, 1964, in Haddam, KS.

Bob attended Countryside Covenant Church, McPherson.

Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Carol of the home; a daughter, Kendra Kuchta (Donald) of McPherson, KS; six grandchildren, Preston Diederich (Allie), Misti Unruh (Landon), Kali Graber (Zach), D.J. Hilzer (Lucy), Skyler Hilzer, and Nikki Collier; sisters, Connie Lewis (Bill) of Muskogee, OK, Charlene Reily (William) of Phoenix, AZ, and Shirley King (Jon) of Oregon; ten great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and step-mother, Sandra Norris of Bandon, OR.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, March 5, 2018, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 6, at Countryside Covenant Church with Rev. Jon Black and Rev. Rick Thomas officiating.
