Robert Hull

Robert E. Hull, 88, of McPherson, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2007, at Memorial Hospital, McPherson. Robert was born December 26, 1918, at Abilene, Kansas, the son of Wiliam Earl and Frieda (Shook) Hull. He graduated from Beloit High School in 1937. On May 16, 1959, he was united in marriage to Ruth Etta Margaret Hickey. She preceded him in death on November 16, 1992. He was a McPherson resident since 1958, formerly of Beloit, Kansas. He was a retired truck driver, driving for Thompson Transport and Groendyke Trucking.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had taught in the church Awana program.

The memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 21, 2007, at the First Baptist Church, McPherson with Rev. Les Cantrell officiating. The cremains will be inurned at McPherson Cemetery at a later date. There is no visitation. His body was bequeathed to the University of Kansas School of Medicine in accordance with the deceased's wishes.

His survivors include: daughters, Reva E. Hull of Olathe, KS and Rhoma E. Hull of Salina, KS; a brother, James R. Hull of Newton, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and an infant daughter, Robin Hull.
