Robert Carpenter

Robert D. "Bob" Carpenter, 72, of McPherson, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wichita. He was retired from the NCRA Refinery where he worked as an operator in the R & F Unit.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, Jan. 4, at First Baptist Church. Burial with Military Honors will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: companion & caregiver, Maurine Gaddis of McPherson; a son, Wayne Carpenter of Salina, KS; five daughters, Evelyn Diane Carpenter of Gunnison, CO, Carley Jo Chrislip of McPherson, Sara Foster of McPherson, Rae Ann Middleton of Olathe, KS; and Paula Carpenter of Salina, KS; a sister, Jan Sink of McPherson; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
