Robert A. Burke

Robert (Bob) A. Burke passed away peacefully Monday morning, December 29, 2017, at the age of 75. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna (Lietz) Burke, of 50 years. He was a respected and wonderful father to his three boys, Robbie (Vicki) of Hilham, Tennessee, David of McPherson, Kansas, Bryan (Linda) of Harlingen, Texas, and his one and only special daughter, Ellen Teall of Dallas, Texas.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Robert of Detroit, Chad of Lansing, Grace (Sivley) of Dallas, Robert of Orlando, Randi of Clinton, MO, Bailey, McKenzie, Kennedy, Aspen, Avery and Bronson of Harlingen, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and many dear friends.

Born and raised in McPherson, Bob was devoted to his family and had a long, successful career in sales. With a kind greeting, a contagious laugh and a "doing fantastic!", Bob, AKA “Howdy Howdy Howdy”, never met a stranger. He loved woodworking and could often be found deep in remodeling his own house. Bob loved traveling throughout the US with Donna, so they could gift his wood working and her quilt crafts to countless friends and family members. When not traveling, Bob was always up for a good game of cards.

The memory of Bob will always be cherished. We miss him!

Bob's family has gathered to honor him in a private ceremony.
