A. Ralph Jordan, Jr., 87, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022, surrounded by family at McPherson Hospital.
Ralph retired from John’s Manville prior to owning & operating Ralph’s Lawn Care. He then was a driver for Midway Motors and a greeter for Walmart.
Ralph was born on April 28, 1935, in Tulsa, OK, the son of Amiel Ralph Jordan, Sr. and Lucile Lois (Cheairs) Jordan. He graduated from Russellville High School in Russellville, AR in 1953.
Ralph was united in marriage to M. Belle (Pletcher) Folck on December 22, 1977, in Russellville, AR. She preceded him in death on December 9, 1989. He married Pat L. (Holt) Guy on July 31, 1993, in McPherson, KS. She passed away May 4, 2018.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, McPherson.
He is survived by: two daughters, Janice Riley (Bob) of Phoenix, AZ and Marsha Rasdon (Gary) of Russellville, AR; two step-daughters, Lani “Lana” Bowser (Gary) of McPherson, KS and Darla Williams (Bradley) of McPherson, KS; a sister, Pollee Gough (Jim) of Clovis, CA; four grandchildren, Melissa Collins, Daniel Connerly (Sarah), Bryan Connerly (Jessica), and Garren Rasdon; six step-grandchildren, Kelcey Guy (Holly), Jared Guy, Justin Guy, Shalonda McGill, Shaun Bowser (Izumi), and Cheyann Williams (fiancé, Ben Barber); 8 great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and many extended family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Belle and Pat; sister, Patricia Jackson; step-son, Todd Guy; and step-grandson, Cole Bradley Williams.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 11, 2022, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Spearman Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until service time, Friday, at the church. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 11, at Jamestown Cemetery in Jamestown, KS.
