Quentin James Richert, 66, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS. He was an accountant, working for Carroll Winslow and Accounting Solutions. He was also a controller for an oil & gas recovery company.

Quentin was born on February 27, 1954, in Glendive, MT, the son of Raymond Tobias and Ruby J. (Janzen) Richert. He graduated from McPherson High School in 1972 and received a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University. On March 28, 1975, Quentin was united in marriage to Rhonda L. Seibel in Conway, KS. This union was blessed with three children, Anthony, Jeremy, and Jeffrey.

He was a member of Hopefield Mennonite Church, Moundridge.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 45 years, Rhonda of the home; three children, Anthony Richert (Alanna) of Elmo, KS, Jeremy Richert of McPherson, KS, and Jeffrey Richert of McPherson, KS; a brother, Larry Richert of Moundridge, KS; three grandchildren, Brenda Miller (Quenten), Anthia Richert, and Trenton Richert; one great-granddaughter, Sonja Miller; and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Richert; mother, Ruby Neufeldt; and two brothers, Roland Richert and Benjamin Richert.

A private family service will be held at a future date.
