Peggy Ebaugh

Peggy Ebaugh, 85, of Wichita, died Friday, August 24, of complications from diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. Peggy lived in McPherson County, Kansas for almost 70 years of her life. She was co-owner with her husband Max of Ebaugh's Furniture Store in Lindsborg and Ebaugh's Gifts Unlimited in McPherson. She and Max moved to the Catholic Care Center in Wichita in 2003 to be closer to family.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Max; siblings: Dr. Walter W. Jones, McPherson; and Connie Peters and her husband Don of Towanda; daughters: Marsha Ebaugh and Camille Kluge, Wichita; and son, Brent Ebaugh and his wife Linda, Colorado Springs, CO. She leaves five grandsons: Dustin Ebaugh and wife Kirissa, Wichita; Joshua Ebaugh and wife Panni, Colorado Springs; Lucas Ebaugh and wife Natalie, Colorado Springs; David Kluge and wife Kristy, Springfield, IL; and Noah Kluge and wife Amber, Wichita. She also is survived by four great grandchildren: Sophia and Alex Kluge, Springfield; and Ella and Rose Kluge, Wichita.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 27 with family present from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 600 E. Marlin, McPherson, KS. Interment will be at McPherson Cemetery.
