Pauline Joy Frazier, 84, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
She was born on March 28, 1930, in Rush County, Kansas, the daughter of Paul Elmo and Esther Phylina (Elias) Walker. She graduated from LaCrosse High School. On October 27, 1949, she was united in marriage to Jay L. Frazier, in LaCrosse, KS. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2007.
Pauline was a member of First United Methodist Church and Domestic Arts Club and was a Charter Member of P.E.O. Chapter HI. She was a homemaker and strong supporter of Coach Jay Frazier’s McPherson Bullpups basketball teams.
Survivors include: three children, Mike Frazier (Beth) of Zionsville, IN, Jan Waring (Lawrence) of Johns Island, SC, and Jeff Frazier (Lyn) of San Bernardino, CA; brother, John Walker (Jeanne) of Washington, KS; sister, Nancy Doughty (Ben) of Commerce, TX; two grandchildren, Ben Frazier of Bloomington, IN and Annie Frazier of Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 8, 2014, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Karen Rice Ratzlaff officiating. A private inurnment will be held at the McPherson Cemetery.
