Patsy Lisenby

Patsy J. Lisenby, 79, of Burrton, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at her home. She was a poultry producer and farmer.

Patsy was born on December 17, 1930, in Dighton, Kansas, the daughter of Joe and Nellie (Proudfoot) Edmundson. She graduated from High School in Dighton, KS in 1949. On August 20, 1949, she was united in marriage to Donald P. Lisenby in Cherokee, Oklahoma.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 16, 2010, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson with Rev. Tim Leaf officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 PM, Friday, at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: husband, Don of the home; son, Mike Lisenby of Dodge City, KS; three daughters, Donna Lisenby of Burrton, KS, Karen Lisenby of Jackson, WY, and Trisha Lisenby of Burrton, KS; brother, Bill Edmundson of Olympia, WA; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
