Patricia Ostlind

Patricia J. "Pat" Ostlind, 83, of McPherson, died Thursday, November 16, 2006, at Infinia Health Center, McPherson.

She was born June 14, 1923, at Bern, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Ann Elizabeth "Bess" (Cunningham) Baugh. She graduated from high school at Edna, Kansas. On July 10, 1945, Pat was united in marriage to Bertil H. Ostlind at Wichita, Kansas.

Pat retired from Farmer's Alliance Insurance Co., working there for 25 years as secretary to the President. She was a member of the New Gottland Covenant Church.

Her survivors include: her husband, Bert of the home; son, Kelly Ostlind of Taos, New Mexico; sister, Judy Woolard of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Katherine Lu "Kay" Ostlind, a brother, Robert Baugh, and two sisters, Freda Patterson and Margaret Mason.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 20, 2006, at the New Gottland Covenant Church with Rev. Kenneth Busse officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.
