Patricia J. Layne

Patricia J. Layne, 79, of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2014, surrounded by family at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. She was an accounting clerk for General Telephone & Electric in Lexington, KY and had worked for the Ferry Morse Seed Company in Fulton, KY.

She was born on October 12, 1934, in Malverne, NY, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Viola (Johnson) Walker.

Survivors include: two daughters, Debbi Eickbush and husband, Bob, of McPherson, KS and Peggy Lewis and husband, Dan, of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mara Walker and Beth Shouse.

A private service and inurnment will be held at a later date in Louisville, Kentucky.
