Neva Evans

Neva Faye Evans, 80, of Marquette, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Salina Regional Health Center. She was a retired claims adjuster for Farm Bureau Insurance, working in offices in Cimarron, Manhattan, & Salina.

Neva was born on November 1, 1931, in Finney County, KS, the daughter of Edgar Dunsworth and Alma (Rogers) Dunsworth. She graduated from high school in Ingalls, Kansas.

She was a life member of V.F.W. Post #2715 Ladies Auxiliary, McPherson.

Survivors include: sons, Brad Evans of Marquette, KS and Rick Evans and wife, Esther, of Atwater, CA; granddaughter, Cauryn Evans of Fresno, CA; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lloyd Dunsworth.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 23, 2012, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bever officiating.
