Mary Beth Goodson

Mary Beth Goodson, 57, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2021, surrounded by family at Asbury Park Nursing Home, Newton. She was a homemaker and worked in food service at The Cedars, McPherson.

Mary was born on August 23, 1963, in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of John Earl and Nora Jean (Ward) Cravens. Mary was united in marriage to Todd R. Goodson on January 30, 1999, in Ontario, CA. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2011.

Survivors include: three children, Steven Cravens of Missouri, Pam Montenegro (Steven) of McPherson, KS, and Jessica Goodson (fiancé, Christopher Mathews) of Hillsboro, MO; eight siblings, Don Chi (Trudy) of Prescott, AZ, Charlie Cravens of George West, TX, Rebecca Hoover (Jim) of Corpus Christi, TX, Debbie Friloux (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO, Joella Cravens of McPherson, KS, John Cravens (Veeda) of McPherson, KS, Kathy Strawn of McPherson, KS, and Sandra Monson (Mark) of Pomona, CA; eight grandchildren and one on the way; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held. The final resting place will be in McPherson Cemetery.
