Marlin L. Nordstrom, 84, of McPherson, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He was owner and operator of McPherson Tractor Company from 1948 to 1989, a local dealer for Ford and New Holland farm equipment.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 14, at New Life Foursquare Gospel Church in McPherson. Burial, with military honors, will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home; the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Survivors include: his wife, B. Radean of the home; a son, Steve Nordstrom of Buhler, KS; two daughters, Deana Ruibal of Flowermound, TX and Dawn Biscaro of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Virginia Seckman and Betty Barchesky, both of McPherson, KS; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlette Jean "Pinky" Nordstrom; two brothers, Roger and Frank Nordstrom; and three sisters, Evelyn Hooper, Edna Dillon, and Helen Young.
