Madden Cape

Madden Boone Cape, 44 days old, peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Wesley Hospital, Wichita.   

Madden was born on October 20, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas, the infant son of Devin Le Cape and Peyton Elizabeth Suzanne Johnson. 

Survivors include his loving parents, Devin Cape and Peyton Johnson of Wichita, KS; grandparents, LeRoy & Luz Mila Cape of McPherson, KS, Tammy Cape of McPherson, KS, Tara & Dustin Younger of McPherson, KS, and Travis & Jessica Johnson of McPherson, KS; great-grandparents, Ereline Hardee of Galva, KS, Tim & Liz Ponting of Marquette, KS, Cindy Copple of Lindsborg, KS, and Marlin & Sue Younger of Litchfield Park, AZ; great-great-grandparents, Martha Ritter of Marquette, KS and Charlie & Mary Ponting of McPherson, KS; aunt & uncles, Cody Cape of Newton, KS, Krew Johnson, Beckett Johnson, Teigan Younger, Reece Johnson, and Mia Moore, all of McPherson, KS.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Leland & Phyllis Peterson, Everett LeRoy Cape, Marney Ritter, and Jim Copple; great-great-grandmother, Carolyn Shank; and a cousin, Michael Graham.

Madden will be forever in the hearts of his family.

A family viewing with a private graveside service to follow at McPherson Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
