Lynda Kay (Woods) Krahl, 57, of Tonganoxie, KS and formerly of McPherson and Galva, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by family at the Hospice House, Hutchinson.
Lynda was born April 12, 1967, in McPherson, KS, to Lloyd C. and Lois A. (Davison) Woods. She graduated with a 4.0 from Brown Mackie College in Salina, KS. On September 19, 1998, Lynda was united in marriage to Jeff Krahl in Las Vegas, NV.
She worked at State Farm Insurance for Jim LaDuke for 21 years, ending her time there as the Office Manager. She then worked at Farmers Alliance for four years as an Advanced Casualty Claims Adjuster. She enjoyed working at both places.
Lynda loved traveling and seeing new places. Her top two favorite trips were to Maui and taking an Alaskan cruise. She also enjoyed the helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon, the many cruises they went on, and all of their Vegas trips. She loved spending time with family and holding her new grandbabies was always one of the best feelings for her. Lynda enjoyed camping, crocheting, reading, and Saturday afternoon outings with Jeff.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; three children, Jennifer Kyle (Chris) of Moundridge, KS, Chelsea Baker (Austin) of McPherson, KS, and Cory Potter (Courtney) of McPherson, KS; siblings, Judie Steiner (Joe) of Inman, KS, Larry Woods (Beverly) of Anadarko, OK, and Lisa Nelson (Dave) of Kansas City, MO; 11 grandchildren, Chase, Kennedi, Zoey, Allie, Reed, Madelyn, Jack, Liam, Amya, Kash, and Lyla; and many extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Woods; mother, Lois Seibel; and beloved dog, Bobber.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life (a come & go event with her favorite snacks) will be held on Saturday, March 22, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the McPherson American Legion.
