Luella Sipe

Luella (Lou) Sipe, 90, of McPherson, died Thursday, September 7, 2006, at Memorial Hospital, McPherson. She was born March 28, 1916, at Lehigh, the daughter of Oscar and Anna (Janke) Buehler. She attended schools in Lehigh and had lived most of her life in McPherson. She was a homemaker.

On February 2, 1934, she married Delbert Wilkinson in Lehigh, Kansas. He died October l0, 1936. On August 3, 1946, she married Royal A. Sipe in McPherson. He died November 21, 1976.

Her survivors include: her daughter, Barbara Keefer of Hutchinson, KS; four sisters, Edna Koehn of McPherson, KS, Ann Goodall of Salina, KS, Laura McKibbin of Newton, KS, and Rose Campbell of Blue Springs, Missouri; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Donna Jennings of Lawrence, three brothers, Carl, George, and Harold Buehler, and a sister, Elsie Chilson.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 11, 2006, at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.
