Lucile Spence

Lucile Spence, 75, of McPherson and formerly of Canton, died Thursday, August 7, 2003, at The Cedars Health Care Center in McPherson. She was a daycare provider and had also worked in the McPherson High School lunch room for 23 years.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 11, 2003, at the First Baptist Church, McPherson. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Survivors include: her husband, Dwight of the home; two sons, Steven E. Spence of McPherson and Lee A. Spence of Hutchinson; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Betty Lee Jones.
