Louise Tinkler

Louise L. Tinkler, 86, of Borger, TX and formerly of McPherson, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008, at the Golden Plains Community Hospital in Borger, TX. Louise was born on August 10, 1922, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of George E. and Lois L. (Henderson) Mosteller. She graduated from Wichita North High School in 1941. On June 7, 1953, she was united in marriage to Clifford R. Tinkler. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1982. She was a homemaker.

Louise was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson Senior Center Kitchenette Band, and Oriental Chapter #58 - Order of the Eastern Star.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson with Rev. Dr. Thomas Hallstrom officiating. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: son, Jeff Tinkler and wife, Cheryl, of Salina, KS; daughter, Susan Belveal and husband, Roger, of Borger, TX; sister, Dorothy Lundstrom of McPherson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, parents, George and Lois Mosteller, adoptive parents, Jim & Freda Mosteller, brothers, Ernie Mosteller & Roy Mosteller, and half-brother, David Mosteller.
