Lewis Nelson

Lewis M. Nelson, 89, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at The Cedars Courts in McPherson. He was a retired farmer and lifetime McPherson County resident.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 31, at the McPherson Church of the Brethren. Private committal service will take place at McPherson Cemetery prior to the funeral. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: a son, Charles Nelson of Rio Rancho, NM; four daughters, Myrna Eis of McPherson, Laurel Williams of Glenwood Springs, CO, Mary Caruthers of McPherson, and Mabel Friesen of McPherson; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
