Lewis Dickerson

Lewis E. "Dick" Dickerson, 78, of McPherson, died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Salina Regional Health Center. Prior to retirement he owned and operated several gas stations in McPherson including, Dick's Happy Service, Hi Quality - Lo Cost, Vicker's, and Phillip's 66. He also worked at the north Dillon's Grocery Store.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 6, at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: a son, Gary Dickerson of Moundridge, KS; three daughters, Cayla Sondergard of Salina, KS, Debbie Withiam of McPherson, KS, and Cathy Wittenberg of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Oleta Melton of Knoxville, TN; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
