Kristin M. Anderson

Kristin Marie Anderson, 46, of Lindsborg and formerly of McPherson, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at her home in Lindsborg. She was the former Youth Director at Church of the Cross in Salina.

Kristin was born on February 14, 1970, in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Kathleen Francis and adoptive parents, Jim and Elizabeth (Humphreys) Fisher. She graduated from Hutchinson High School, Central Christian College of Kansas, and received a Master’s Degree at Friends University.

Survivors include: sons, Matthew (Pinedo) Anderson of Liberty, MO and Micah Anderson of McPherson, KS; step-daughter, Morgan Anderson of Wichita, KS; former husband, Sheldon Anderson of McPherson, KS; fiancé, Brad Johnson of Salina, KS; brother, Jon Fisher of Atlanta, GA; sister, Anne Fisher of Monroe, LA; mother, Kathleen Francis of Orange Park, FL; and grandparents, William and Mary Strecker of Montague, MI.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Countryside Covenant Church, McPherson with Rev. Zach Fleming officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 13, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
