Kirk B. Roberts

Kirk B. Roberts, 60, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2018, surrounded by family at his home in McPherson. He was a truck driver for Hyland Dairy, owned & operated Kirk’s Detailing, and was a parts man at Harry Lane Supply.

Kirk was born on June 14, 1958, in Travis AFB, California, the son of Clifford “Bill” and Peggy L. (Call) Roberts. He attended the McPherson schools. On May 28, 1991, Kirk was united in marriage to Julie Kay Likins in Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include: his wife, Julie of the home; daughters, Brandy Kent (Kylil) of Round Rock, TX, Amy Roberts (Mark Phillips) of McPherson, KS, and Tonya Housholder (Dan) of Reistertown, MD; father-in-law & mother-in-law, LeRoy and Sharon Likins of McPherson, KS; brother, Lee Roberts (Lori) of New Braunfels, TX; sister, Laurie Boston (Mike) of Augusta, KS; sister-in-law, Darlene Roberts of Augusta, KS; brother-in-law, Scott Likins of McPherson, KS; and six grandchildren, Keyana, Andre, Cavary, Courtney, Eric, and Brantley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenny Chrislip, Scott Roberts, and Wayne Roberts.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 29, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Mayse officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Excelsior Cemetery, Marquette.
