Kevin E. Swick

Kevin Eugene Swick, 65, formerly of McPherson, KS, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at his home in Little Flock, AR. He was a sales clerk at the Cabela’s store in Rogers, AR.  

Kevin was born May 13, 1959, in McPherson, KS, the son of Donald Keith and Hazel Ozeta (Decker) Swick. He graduated from McPherson High School.

Kevin’s free spirit showed in his love for all things outdoors. He could be found hunting, fishing, looking for arrowheads, camping or watching sunsets most of his days.

His love of music showed through during his time spent in high school band, playing in their band, “Tequila Jam”, humming the “happy food song” while bouncing his knee at the supper table, and listening to his favorite 70’s bands.

Above all, Kevin’s favorite treasures were his friends, pets, and family.

Survivors include his sister, Saundra Bruce of McPherson, KS; brother, Darryl Swick of McPherson, KS; niece, Shana (John) Gollihar of McPherson, KS; nephew, Jason (Kala) Bruce of McPherson, KS; great-nieces & nephews, Casey (Kayla) Baker, Chad Jensen, Aaron Jensen, Alex (Michael) Kaiser, Jordan Gollihar, and Taylor Bruce; 13 great-great-nieces & nephews; and many extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Gary Bruce.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Crestwood Memorial Park, McPherson.
