Kenyon Lee Madden, 60, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends, on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Victoria Falls in Andover, KS.

Kenyon was a 25-year employee of Meadows Hospital in Bloomington, IN where he served in Human Resources, staff development, counseling services, and case management. He returned to McPherson in 2016 to care for his aging parents and worked for Multi Community Diversified Services.

Kenyon was born on April 17, 1960, in Hays, KS, the son of Jackie Lee “Jack” and Bertha Louise “Bertie” (Kramer) Madden. He graduated from McPherson High School in 1978, Kansas State University in 1984, and continued to take additional college courses throughout his entire life.

Kenyon has lived in Andover, KS at Victoria Falls since 2017, following his diagnosis and treatment of brain cancer. He was a former resident of McPherson, KS and Bloomington, IN.

Survivors include: aunts, Barbara Trent of El Dorado, KS, Sue Kramer of Cimarron, KS, and Marjorie Kramer of Ulysses, KS; numerous cousins; and dear friends he lovingly referred to as his “Angels”, Jo Unruh of Galva, KS and Connie Grennan of McPherson, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Bertie Madden, and grandparents, Harry & Myrtis (Sims) Madden and Frederick & Mary (Spanier) Kramer.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 13, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.
