Kathryn Koehn

Kathryn Koehn, 91, of Moundridge and formerly of Livingston, CA and Inman, KS, died Monday, August 6, 2007, at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.

She was born on March 8, 1916, at Inman, KS, the daughter of Gerhardt and Mary (Klassen) Martens. She attended Clark Country School near Inman and LPN School at Kansas City.

On July 20, 1986, she was united in marriage to John B. Koehn at Winton, CA. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2001.

Kathryn was a member of the Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman, Kansas.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 10, 2007, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman, KS. Burial will be at the Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman.

Her survivors include: her brother, Edward Martens of Inman, KS; step-sons, Larry Koehn of Atwater, CA, Bill Koehn of Greeley, CO, Maynard Koehn of Century, FL; step-daughters, Jane Giesbrecht of Turlock, CA, Grace Koehn of Hillsboro, KS, Cornelia Smith of Ballico, CA, Cynthia Koehn of Oceanside, CA, and Faith Farkas of Aventoura, FL; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, five sisters, three great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
