Johnny L. "John" Webster

Johnny L. “John” Webster, 72, of McPherson and formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. He was a welder at Agco Corp. in Hesston and also was a mechanic at Webster Auto Service in Marion.

Johnny was born on November 28, 1942, in Marion, KS, the son of Marium L. and Nora (Kline) Webster. He graduated from Marion High School in 1960. On October 28, 1967, Johnny was united in marriage to Carolyn A. Mohn in Hillsboro, KS.

Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn of the home; birth daughter, Denise Syverson Roach (Paul) of Colfax, WI; three grandchildren, Jesse Schultz, Kara Schultz, and Deanna Schultz; brother, Lawrence Webster and wife, Glenda, of Wichita, KS; sisters, Jennette Matz and husband, Robert, of Marion, KS and Margo Allen of Las Vegas, NV; and nephews, Barry Allen of Marion, KS, Brian Allen of Las Vegas, NV, Jeff Webster and wife, Deb, of Dallas, TX, and Jason Webster of Wichita, KS.

A private family inurnment will be held at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Hillsboro, KS at a later date.
