John Rodriquez

John R. Rodriquez, 84, of Lyons and formerly of McPherson, died Tuesday July 6, 2010, at the Lyons Good Samaritan Home. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and also worked for several years as an extruder operator at Certain-Teed Plastics in McPherson.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 10, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Interment, with Military Burial Honors, will be at the Smoky Hill Cemetery near Lindsborg. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: four sons, Michael Rodriquez (Sheryl) of Lindsborg, KS, Anthony Rodriquez (Angela) of Lyons, KS, Steven Rodriquez of McPherson, and Daniel Rodriquez of Omaha, AR; three daughters, Maria Starr (Rusty) of McPherson, Regina Wynn (Doug) of Haysville, KS, and Linda Rodriquez (Rick) of McPherson; 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-grandchild.
