Jeffrey Keith Power, 65, of Moundridge, KS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at NMC Health Medical Center, Newton.
Jeff was born on June 22, 1957, in Goessel, KS, the son of Harold Keith and Darleen Frances (Helms) Power. He graduated from Halstead High School in 1975.
He worked for Power Transport, a mobile home transportation service, and also at Central Plastics and CertainTeed.
Survivors include: two sons, Chris (Jennifer) Kyle of Moundridge, KS and Matt Patton of Moundridge, KS; his mother, Darleen Power of Lindsborg, KS; siblings, Greg Power of Lindsborg, KS, Julie (Ernie) Diederich of McPherson, KS, Kelly (Teresa) Power of McPherson, KS, and Troy Power (fiancé, Kathryn Richardson) of Moundridge, KS; five grandchildren, Chase, Kennedi, Zoey, Emily, and Jasmine; his beloved dog companion, Molly; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Power; a brother, Brad Power; and a nephew, Jesse Diederich.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, January 23, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 24, at the Lindsborg Evangelical Covenant Church with Rev. Jeff Waugh officiating. Cremation will follow the service. A private graveside service will be held at the Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury, at a later date.
